Professional Bio
Krista Hinman is a Senior Engineer at Verizon and the Global Lead (president) of Verizon’s Disabilities Issues Awareness Leaders (DIAL) ERG. She is a passionate technologist and teacher, and has experience as an engineer, in educating engineers via the Verizon Learning & Development team (across all segments of the Business Channel) and liaises with Product Development, Sales, and L&D personnel to conduct needs analyses to bring innovative IoT products to fruition.
With over 15 years of experience at Verizon, Krista is known as a technology evangelist, with deep expertise in mobile private networking, IoT security, and solutions architecture, and has been frequently engaged as a SME and guest speaker in customer & executive briefings on those topics. She has been repeatedly recognized for top performance; in addition to her work with DIAL, she is a member of Verizon’s Accessibility Governance team and is also a member of Verizon’s 2018 “Women of Wireless” class.
